BUSINESS OVERVIEW:

DMS services the Australian mining industry with extensive experience in the provision of services and equipment for the operation, maintenance and support of open cut and underground mining. The Business has four key operating divisions:

• Underground – provides staff, equipment, engineering maintenance, operational support and other specialised services to underground mines
• Engineering – provides equipment maintenance and overhauls, specialised engineering fabrication along with design and consulting services to the sector
• Maintenance – provides specialist scaffolding, protective coatings and mechanical maintenance services for high value production critical mining equipment and supporting infrastructure (e.g. ports)
• Coaltrams – developed and now manufactures for sale and hire a specialist underground mining utility vehicle in 8t and 10t variants

With over 500 employees and operations in Queensland and New South Wales, DMS is well positioned to service its key customers in the coal and mineral processing industries, which are amongst the largest in the world.

The Fund has provided expansion capital to the business for a ~33% shareholding alongside the founders of the business and management.
